I recently shared a video over on my Facebook page showing a little behind-the-scenes moment of me making soap and it is sped up/edited so not super long, but highlighted how much I can talk about soap!!

This particular soap is especially meaningful for me to create. I used herbs straight from my garden, gently steeping them into warmed oils to draw out their natural fragrance and colour. It’s a slow, intentional process and one that really captures why I love making soap so much. Watching the oils transform, and knowing exactly where those herbs came from, brings me so much joy.

Watching the oils transform and knowing exactly where those herbs came from is pure joy for me though, and now that the soap has fully cured, I’m so happy (and a little proud) to finally introduce Citrus Verde. It’s fresh, grounded, and full of that garden-to-bar magic and a true labour of love.

I also wanted to share some exciting news:

• Citrus & Seed has recently won a soap design competition and second in another.
• Opaline Quartz has also taken out a first place win

I’m honestly surprised and incredibly grateful that my soaps have been doing so well across various competitions. It means the world to have my work recognised, especially knowing how much care and intention goes into every creation.

Looking ahead, I’ve been busy creating some beautiful Valentine’s Day offerings, perfect for gifting (or treating yourself- always encouraged!) and exploring new creative ideas.

The countdown to Christmas has officially begun, and there’s no better time to get ahead on the gifting season. It’s been a very busy few weeks here at Soap Sorcery by TLC. Our kitchen smells amazing, and every spare bench space is covered in freshly poured soap! My daughter and I have been having the best time experimenting with new essential oil blends, natural colours, and ingredients to create something a little bit special for everyone.

Right now, all our new soaps are tucked away, curing beautifully; which means they’re hardening, getting milder, and turning into those creamy, long-lasting bars we all love. The curing process takes around 4 weeks, so over the next fortnight you’ll start to see lots of new soaps popping up on our website.

We’ve got some gorgeous batches coming... think soothing goat’s milk, gentle oatmeal, fresh citrus, and a few surprise blends that smell incredible.

It’s such a joy turning simple, natural ingredients into something that brings a little everyday luxury and care to your skin. Thank you so much for being here and supporting our small batch soap, it truly means the world.
